Why do different detail companies charge different amounts?
Several Reasons- Different Products, machinery, and different experience levels of the detailers. Another reason is the amount of services included in any company's “Full Detail” or any “Detail” varies and could include less. In other words, read the fine print of what is included and to not just compare package title to package title.

Products: Different companies use different products. A wax may be of a lower grade therefore the company can offer you a lower cost. Detail companies may be using non professional products.

ACE MOBILE AUTO DETAILING uses the most cutting edge and proven best products in the auto detailing industry. We order the best products from the United States and Europe.

Machinery: Different Machinery- There are so many types of buffers, polishers, and other detail equipment. A detail company may be using a novice buffer and polisher and therefore will not yield the same results as professional grade equipment.

At ACE MOBILE AUTO DETAILING, detailing is our passion. We are constantly trying out new equipment during our off hours to make sure we are using the most cutting edge technology and equipment out there. We spare no expense with our machinery. Our equipment is top of the line.

Experience Level of Detailers: Like all service companies- if a detailer has less or no experience the detailer is paid less. Some detail companies only use contractors. Some detail companies send out detailers that have zero experience and are told to just clean a car. Some detail companies have sent them to an auto detailing school and then send the detailer out to detail cars with no real professional detailing experience.

We at ACE MOBILE AUTO DETAILING only send out the highest qualified detailers. All of our detailers are employees and are constantly receiving the latest training and education on the newest techniques, products, and equipment. Our detailers are compensated well and it shows in their work. You will never have a lead detailer sent without 1,000 cars of professional experience under their belt.

 

 

What are your prices?
Our prices range and vary for every vehicle size.  We encourage customers to call or email to receive a quick and easy price quote 703-343-5336.  Our prices are low because we have a company standard to always stay solely a mobile service.  The reason is ultimate customer convenience.  You don’t have to go anywhere and you don’t have to pay more for that convenience. We bring everything to you, our vans are equipped with everything including water and electricity.

 

 

Why Should I Have My Car Detailed?
It is important to keep your vehicle clean for many reasons, the true amount is infinite.  Most importantly a clean car is worth more.   A well detailed vehicle can be worth thousands more than a dirty unmaintained vehicle.  Another great reason to have your vehicle detailed is for the simple reason of the enjoyment from owning a vehicle in brand new show room condition.  A well detailed vehicle that has been performed by a professional and with the use of the highest quality products will bring back or keep the show room condition.   Every exposed surface inside and out is fully cleaned and left with a strong protectant that preserves the mint condition of the vehicle.

 

 

What will Ace Mobile do for my car?
We will perform all services, steps, and processes outlined on our services page.  We have highly experienced detailers and have combined the best of all detailing methods, knowledge, and products possible. The detailing industry has changed and has advanced and so has Ace Mobile.  Instead of mediocre car wax we use only the highest grade, strongest, most durable paint sealants that give our customers the highest level of protection possible combined with leaving deep, glossy, nutrient rich, jaw dropping show car paint finishes.  All interior vinyl, leather, and plastic is cleaned and also dressed with a high nutrient, sun blocking dressing that prevents drying, fading and cracking which can all cause loss of value.  Ace detailers use Meguiar's Professional Products available for use by professionals only.  Meguiars Car Care ProductsWe do this because Meguiar's products have been used to beautify cars since 1901 and work closely with many car manufacturers to provide the highest grade and best products on the market. We use heated steam cleaning at a heat of 200 degrees to fully extract all dirt and remove all stains possible.

 

 

 

 

How often should I have my vehicle detailed?
Anywhere from three to six months depending on factors such as weather conditions, storage location, daily use, etc. We recommend paint sealent application every six months to keep your paint in its best shape. Paint sealent application prevents oxidation of your paint.

 

 

What is the difference between your service and the express ones offered by car washes?
The difference is huge.  Express services offered by car washes are exactly that, express.  This means they are performed quickly.  The problem is, that to perform the service quicker, corners must be cut.  Weaker products are applied and not given the correct time to bond to the surface.  Lower quality products are also used to save money and are often easier and faster to apply than the high quality ones used by Ace Mobile.  This jeopardizes the amount of protection left on the car and you often pay a high price for the shorter time spent to perform the service.  If you are going to spend the money to have your car detailed use a professional that values correct methods and the very best products, as we do.

 

 

Do you service commercial and fleet accounts?
Absolutely! We welcome all commercial accounts.  Taxi, Limo, Fleet, Repair Shops, Construction companies and more. Also company managers can add our services as a convenient benefit for employees.

 

 

How long does a detail take?
Generally between 1-5 hours,depending on the size and services needed.

 

 

What is the difference between the premium detail and the full detail?
Our full detail package is our economy detail. We created this package to compete with area car wash detailing and dealership detailing.

The premium detail offers additional services. The main additional services offered in the premium detail are:

-Heated deep steam extraction (cleaning of all carpet, floor mats, seats, between seats, and upholstery) See our before and after photos of this throughout our site
-Power scrub carpet, floor mats, seats, and upholstery
-Higher level of concentration on the interior upholstery and seats
-Clay Bar Treatment (Read our FAQ about this valuable treatment)
-Extra time polishing
-High grade Pure Polymer Paint Sealant (Lasts 2-3 times as long as wax)

Our premium detail is our detail that we at ACE MOBILE have always offered. We just renamed this the Premium Detail. Our photos throughout our website reflect the Premium Detail. Our Full Detail is a new package that we introduced the summer of 2011. This includes less services and is set to compare to car wash detailing and dealership detailing.

 

 

What is the difference between the Car Selling Package and the Premium Detail?
The interiors of both packages are the same and extremely thorough. The exterior of the car selling package gets the exterior paint into its best possible visual shape. More time is spent getting the exterior into top condition. There is less concentration on protectant with the car selling package as the car is being sold or traded in.

We recommend that you do not get the car selling package unless you are selling/trading in your car. If you have concerns with the exterior paint or defects inquire about our additional micro compounding service.

 

 

What is our micro compounding service?
Our compounding service is done with the latest most advance techniques and products. We use Micro Abrasive Polish to remove swirls, scratches and other paint defects. This does not create hazing on the paint or swirls as does inexpensive traditional compounds. This is a major concern when customers have come to us after using other detail companies. Please inquire for more information about our compounding add on service.

 

 

When is the Maintenance Detail recommended?
We recommend the Maintenance Detail for brand new cars less than 3 months old and recently Premium Detailed autos less than 3 months ago.

 

 

What is the clay bar treatment?
The short answer Auto Detailing Clay removes from paint what washing and polishing cannot.

Clay works by removing contaminants that are embedded in the paint finish. Contaminants create little bumps that interfere with the bonding of the paint sealant/wax and create an uneven reflection. These contaminants include rail dust, industrial fall out, overspray, and brake dust. You might not be able to see them but you can certainly feel them if you lightly rub your fingers over the paint surface of your automobile.

When used by a professional detailing clay bar treatment is completely safe and nonabrasive.

 

 

Did you know.............
That having a hand wash done by Ace Mobile Auto Detailing does not use reused water that is used at stationary car washes. This water could contain previous customers salt and sand and other dirt debris from their cars that gets distributed on your car as stationary washes uses the same water and reuses this on cars.

A hand wash with chamois towels and clean towels will not allow scratching. Stationary washes that have brushes will scratch paint surfaces. Towels or cloth that is reused will also have sand, dirt, and salt debris that can scratch your car after it has been taken off the previous customer's car at a stationary wash rather this is in the brushes or the person hand drying the auto after the service.

We have all fully trained detailers performing all of our services. We personally care about each auto and it's outcome.

Paint sealant protection can protect your paint from future snow, salt, sand, and dirt debris until you can get your car washed. This prevents the salt and sand from eating through your clear coat to your paint and then through your paint. Paint sealant can last up to 6 months depending on the environment your car is kept in. Paint sealant also adds a fantastic shine unlike no other and is a higher grade form of a wax. Paint Sealant adds the ultimate gloss.
